UniKidz Middenhoven

UniKidz Middenhoven is a brand-new after-school care location of UniKidz, located within primary school De Cirkel at Orion 7 in Amstelveen. Since September 2, 2024, we provide care for up to 42 children aged 4 to 13. Our location is part of the unique UniKidz concept, where children follow a new activity program every 10 weeks tailored to their interests and talents. We work with four development areas: Fitkidz (sports & movement), Soulkidz (music, dance & culture), Mindkidz (development & education), and Makekidz (making & creating). These labels are central to our offerings and ensure a broad and varied program. Children are given the space to discover what they are good at and are encouraged to stay curious, make mistakes, and try new things. Our pedagogical professionals are not standard caregivers, but professionals with their own talent or background in areas such as sports, arts, or music. They actively pass this on to the children. We believe it is important that children feel at home with us and enjoy coming to the after-school care. A place where they are allowed to get dirty, because clean clothes are waiting inside. A place where they would rather stay than leave. UniKidz Middenhoven works closely with primary school De Cirkel, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. We are located in the same building, providing familiarity and calm for the children. Our care is set up as a homely and safe environment, with space for both relaxation and development.
