2Otters

2Otters is a welcoming after-school care facility located within De Vijver primary school in the Wateringse Veld district of The Hague. We provide care for children aged 4 to 13 years, with daily opening hours from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We maintain a close partnership with Daltonschool De Vijver. Our pedagogical staff collect younger children directly from their classrooms, while older children make their own way to our facility. We operate across two classrooms within the school building, accommodating two after-school care groups, one before-school care group, and our Eetcafé. At 2Otters, we believe in creating an environment where children can fully develop their potential. Through our KICKs program, we offer a diverse range of stimulating activities presented as mini-workshops by specialist instructors. These activities emphasize variety and quality, ensuring children have access to enriching experiences. Our facilities are specifically designed to meet the needs of different age groups, providing both calm spaces and challenging activities. This approach allows children to develop at their own pace and in their own way, while supporting their growing need for independence. In addition to before and after-school care, we provide during-school care through our Eetcafé. Children don't need to bring packed lunches - instead, they enjoy sandwiches together at set tables, creating a homely atmosphere that offers a welcome break from the school environment.
