BSO Totempaal

Welcome to BSO Totempaal, located at Zuidsingel 17 in the heart of Middelburg. We are part of Kindcentrum ABS and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. After a long day at school, there’s nothing better than relaxing and playing with friends. That’s exactly what we’re here for. At BSO Totempaal, we work with four fixed themes: sports & games, arts & culture, nature & technology, and social skills. This allows children to discover and develop something new every week at their own pace. We craft, build, play sports and games – always tailored to what the children enjoy. We also offer before-school care (VSO). Before school starts, we cosy up with a book in the reading corner or jump and climb in the gym to wake up. Our location is housed within Kindcentrum ABS, which means we work closely with the primary school. This ensures our activities align seamlessly with the children’s experiences and allows us to respond quickly when needed. We have a large garden where children can play to their heart’s content, and when the weather is nice, we spend a lot of time outdoors. BSO Totempaal has space for up to 54 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 2010. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to give children a safe, challenging and above all fun time. We believe in the power of play, friendship and relaxation – exactly what children need after a day full of impressions.
