IKC de Triangel Capelle aan den IJssel

Welcome to To Be Kind, located at IKC De Triangel – Out-of-School Care (BSO) in Capelle aan den IJssel. Our team is ready every afternoon to offer children aged 4 to 13 a safe, homely and Christian environment after school. We pick the children up from school and start with a shared moment around the table: enjoying fruit together and chatting about the day. Afterwards, children can choose from various activities. We work in small groups and introduce a new theme every month. Activities are always age-appropriate: we do arts and crafts, experiments, cook and bake healthy dishes, play outside or in the gym, and sing Christian songs. There is also quiet time for homework or reading a book. Our motto is ‘playing together’ and we believe playing outside is fun and healthy. Around half past four the children have a cracker and we end the day with free play. While having their snack, one of our pedagogical staff reads a Bible story aloud, introducing the children to the Bible in a playful way. During school holidays we are open from 07:30 to 18:00. We then provide a holiday programme with more structured activities and regular outings. We share fibre-rich bread together and teach the children how to prepare a healthy lunch themselves. Togetherness and helping one another remain central. Our BSO at IKC De Triangel, Bongerd 4, is open every school day from 14:15 to 18:00. We look forward to welcoming your child!
