BSO Tierentijn

Welcome to BSO Tierentijn, the out-of-school care centre in the heart of Tilburg-Noord. We are located at Pastoriestraat 1, right next to a spacious park, so children can play, move and explore straight after school. Our modern Child Centre combines day-care, pre-school playgroup and out-of-school care under one roof. For the BSO this means that children aged 4 to 13 can join us for before-school care, after-school care and holiday care. At BSO Tierentijn we work with small groups of up to 88 children. We pick the children up from primary schools in the immediate area and bring them safely to the centre in our own minibus or on foot. The atmosphere is homely and safe; our pedagogical professionals greet every child with a smile and a listening ear. After a long school day the children first receive a healthy snack and something to drink. Then there is plenty of room to choose: romping around in our green garden, getting creative in the studio, sports and games in the gym, or quietly reading a book in the reading corner. Our offer varies from day to day and from season to season. We regularly organise nature excursions in the adjacent park, craft with natural materials and work thematically around seasons and holidays. During holidays we put together an extensive programme with workshops, outings and sports clinics. Parents receive photos and short reports via our parent app so they can share in their child’s experiences. BSO Tierentijn works closely with primary schools in the neighbourhood. We tailor our activities to the interests and developmental needs of the children and provide peace and structure after a busy school day. Together we ensure that every child feels safe, seen and challenged.
