Tienercentrum

Welcome to Tienercentrum Tiens, located in the heart of Bussum at Herenstraat 6A. Our center is part of SKBNM, a social childcare organization that has been active in the Gooise Meren region since 1982. We provide after-school care specifically designed for teenagers aged 10 to 14. At Tiens, we understand that teenagers need freedom, responsibility, and activities that match their interests. Our pedagogical staff are specially trained to work with this age group and create an atmosphere where teenagers can be themselves. We have four group rooms, a kitchen, art studio, game room, and a sports and games hall. Our indoor courtyard with table tennis table and fire pits offers a relaxed place to chill, while the outdoor area is perfect for basketball, football, and other sports activities. Our activity program is diverse and tailored to what teenagers enjoy. Think of playing games together like Expedition Robinson, pool, listening to music, or making beats. During school holidays, we organize special trips to places like Oud Valkeveen, the ice rink in Bussum, or excursions with the forest ranger. These holiday activities are included and cost nothing extra. We work with a Parent Portal that keeps parents informed of the activity program and allows them to view photos. Parents can also contact our pedagogical staff directly. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from the end of school until 6:00 PM. During holidays and study days, we are open from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
