Thuishuis Kleurrijk

Welcome to Thuishuis Kleurrijk, located at Lyklamawei 5 in Nijemirdum. We are a small-scale after-school care facility where a maximum of eight children per day enjoy a warm and pleasant time. Our site is centrally located yet surrounded by nature. Animals live on the premises and there is a large shared playground where children can romp and explore. We share the grounds with clients from farm Kleurrijk; on the playground they and our children occasionally meet and we organise joint activities. In this way our children learn in a playful way to interact with different people and animals. At Thuishuis Kleurrijk we believe in the good in people and animals. We provide professional care in a homely atmosphere, with personal care and attention for each child at the centre. Warmth and security form the basis from which children dare to take initiatives and develop in their own way and at their own pace. We work with clear structure and fixed agreements, so that children know where they stand. At the same time, we offer space to discover and daily stimulate their curiosity and creativity. The outdoor air and the daily care of our animals complete our offer. Children not only learn to play, but also to take responsibility and show respect for nature and the animals around them. Thuishuis Kleurrijk is for children aged 4 to 12 and works with an hourly rate, with childcare allowance keeping care affordable.
