Thuishuis Ninimini

Welcome to Thuishuis NiniMini, located at Kapelweg 13 in the centre of Ter Apel. We are a small-scale after-school care (BSO) facility with room for 16 primary-school children aged 4 to 12. Our home is set in the historic Sint Lucia building, within walking distance of local schools. A fixed team of four pedagogical staff members – Nienke, Charlene, Harma and Kimberly – work on set days so that children always see a familiar face. Inside, the space is warm and cosy, divided into clearly defined corners: a construction zone with challenging materials, a creative table for crafts and drawing, a role-play area and a quiet reading corner with cushions and books. Outside, children enjoy a large green playground where they can run, climb and invent their own games. We value small-scale care and personal contact. Parents arrange everything directly with us and are welcome to drop in at any time. We provide care Monday to Friday from 6.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.; other hours can be arranged. Every Tuesday we serve a hot meal; on other days children bring their own lunch. We regularly go on outings – to the woods, the playground or a museum – always in small groups and with clear agreements. Fees are charged by the hour, with no fixed half-day blocks. You do not pay for weeks when we are closed (public holidays and holidays). Child-care allowance is available, keeping net costs low. There is currently no waiting list; feel free to visit and meet us without obligation.
