Thuishuis bij Antine

Thuishuis Bij Antine is a small-scale after-school care facility (BSO) located at Westervalge 18 in Warffum, right next to the village park. We provide care for up to 20 school-aged children aged 4 to 12 in a homely, green environment with no through traffic. Our location is safely and quietly situated behind the houses, so children feel at home immediately. Our vision is clear: every child is free to be themselves and is given all the space to discover, grow and have fun. From a foundation of security and trust, we encourage independence and personal choices. We work with fixed pedagogical staff who build a warm relationship with each child and with parents. This makes Thuishuis Bij Antine feel like a second home. Inside, the space is cosy and clearly arranged with natural materials, plants and small play corners where children can play quietly or enjoy each other's company. There is a large table for creative crafts, games or shared meals. Our large sofa invites story time. For moments when energy really needs to be released, there is a separate room where we can dance, jump and move to music. The outdoor area offers plenty of challenges. For BSO children there is a climbing wall and rings to swing on. In addition, you will find a sandpit, swing, slide and chalkboard. The green setting next to the park makes it possible to explore nature and romp around outside the gate as well. We are open 49 weeks a year, Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 18:00. Thuishuis Bij Antine does not work with fixed day sessions; parents can make flexible arrangements. Thanks to the childcare allowance, our care remains very affordable.
