Welcome to Teddy Kids Lorentzkade BSO, our very first location where the Teddy Kids journey began. Nestled at Lorentzkade 15A in the heart of Leiden, this warm, nurturing space is home to our bilingual after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. We collect children from TISA, Leiden International School and local primary schools, then turn every afternoon into an adventure worth talking about at dinner. Our team of native English and Dutch educators guide children through a rich bilingual environment where language flows naturally during games, projects and conversations. After a healthy snack of fresh fruit and whole grains, we head outdoors—rain or shine—for daily nature exploration, playground games and sports that let kids release energy and breathe fresh air after a day in the classroom. Each term the children vote on their own special-interest clubs: cooking, coding, sports, storytelling or science experiments. These child-led choices empower kids to pursue what excites them most. During school holidays our BSO transforms into full-day camps with themed week-long projects, field trips around Leiden, special guests and extended outdoor adventures. We keep groups small so every child is known by name and feels truly seen. Parents love our flexibility: change days with one day’s notice and enjoy no cancellation period, so care always fits your family’s changing needs.
