Tante Cato - BMS

Tante Cato – BMS is an after-school care facility located at Sandenburch 1 in Amsterdam-Buitenveldert. We are part of Tante Cato & ZO, an organization fully dedicated to after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our premises are on the ground floor of the same building as De Buitenveldertse Montessorischool (BMS), allowing us to offer a seamless transition from school to care. We provide care for up to 57 children per day, divided into horizontal age groups. Our pedagogical staff guide the children through a wide range of activities: from creative craft projects and sports challenges to themed games. During school weeks we are open from the end of the school day until 18:30. During holidays and study days we welcome children from 08:00 to 18:30. A large part of our programme consists of excursions. We regularly visit museums, theatres, indoor playgrounds and the cinema. In addition, we organize workshops and work on creative or sports projects. Before each holiday we draw up a holiday programme so that children know exactly what to expect. We adapt this programme flexibly based on the weather or new opportunities that arise. Our BMS location is specifically intended for children in school groups 1 to 3. We work closely with the Montessori school to optimally support each child's development.
