Talent Kinderopvang/ SportBSO De Grindslag

SportBSO De Grindslag is part of Ester Gelsing Kinderopvang and is located at Doesburgseweg 20 in Wehl. We provide after-school care for up to 20 children aged 5 to 13 years. Our location is housed within the De Grindslag sports club and we make full use of the spacious sports fields and facilities. We are open on Thursday afternoons from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and during school holidays. At our location, sports and play are central. After school, children can release their energy on our sports fields and in the gym, but there is also room for relaxation and creative activities. In our cozy group room, children can do crafts, play board games, or simply relax with a book. We have a large cupboard with play materials that children can choose from themselves. There is also plenty of outdoor play equipment available, including sports equipment and ride-on toys. Each child is assigned a mentor. This pedagogical employee is the fixed point of contact for both child and parents. The mentor conducts the intake interview and regularly discusses the child's development and well-being with the parents. This way we ensure a familiar and stable environment where children feel safe and secure. We work according to a clear pedagogical policy in which we challenge children in their development through play. We stimulate the development of motor, cognitive, language and creative skills. Our pedagogical employees are professionally trained and are supervised by a pedagogical policy employee. We meet all quality requirements of the GGD and are inspected annually. Parents are informed about the goings-on at SportBSO De Grindslag in various ways. This happens through our website, verbal handover when picking up and dropping off the children, newsletters and parent evenings. We have an active parent committee that thinks along about policy and in which parents are represented. For questions or comments, parents can always contact the mentor or the childcare manager.
