BSO 't Zand

Welcome to BSO ’t Zand, a welcoming after-school care centre located in the heart of ’t Zand, operated by Kappio childcare. Our facility at C. de Leeuwstraat 14 accommodates up to 44 children aged 4 to 12. Centrally positioned in the neighbourhood, we offer a safe and familiar place for children to unwind after school. BSO ’t Zand is set up as a home-from-home where children can relax, play and explore. We run two age-based groups: one for 4- to 6-year-olds and one for 6- to 12-year-olds. This horizontal grouping ensures that activities and guidance match each child’s developmental stage. Our rooms are cosy and inviting, and we have our own BSO garden where we play football, run around or go on mini-beast hunts. Our programme is varied and child-centred. Children can get creative in the art corner, make music, join sports and games, or simply chill on the sofa with a book after a busy day at school. During holiday periods we organise extra outings such as museum visits, playground trips or sports tournaments. Nothing is compulsory – after all, BSO time is free time. We provide structure and freedom so every child can recharge in their own way. BSO ’t Zand works closely with local primary schools. We collect the children and ensure a smooth transition from classroom to after-school care. Parents are always welcome to drop in and see what we do.
