BSO 't Koetje

BSO 't Koetje is located in a beautifully renovated old village farmhouse at Schoolstraat 5 in Bathmen. We provide after-school care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12 years (group 8). Our team of childcare professionals offers fun and varied activities with a strong focus on outdoor play and interaction with animals and nature. Our location features its own vegetable garden and extensive outdoor play areas where children can play in all weather conditions. We pick up children from school with our bus and provide a healthy afternoon snack with tea, breakfast cake, whole grain cookies or fruit. During school holidays and study days, we offer full-day programs with fruit, bread with milk or buttermilk, and healthy snacks. We follow the principles of green pedagogy: growing up in green surroundings with the space and tranquility that the countryside offers. Our unique farm location gives children the opportunity to get acquainted with animals, nature and outdoor life in a relaxed manner. We ask parents to dress their children in clothes that may get dirty and to bring a spare set, as we spend a lot of time outdoors.
