Welcome to the after-school care of 't Hummelhûs at our farm location on Hoofdweg 221 in Oldeholtpade. We provide before-school, after-school and holiday care for children aged 4 to 12 years in a unique farm environment. Our location is just minutes from Wolvega and features a large covered outdoor play area, ensuring children can always play outside. Children can unwind after school or engage in active play at our facility. We have friendly farm animals – chickens, goats, guinea pigs and rabbits – that the children help care for together. There's also a nature garden and large greenhouse where we work together. Children participate in gardening, cooking and baking activities, and we regularly make trips to the forest, playground or supermarket. Our pedagogical staff create a warm and safe atmosphere where every child feels at home. We work with small groups to ensure each child receives personal attention. In addition to the outdoor play area, we have an animal meadow and ample indoor space for crafts, games and quality time together. We communicate with parents through our convenient parent app, making it easy to report holidays or request extra days.
