BSO 't Armhoes

BSO ’t Armhoes is located at Heirweg 36A in the centre of Sleen and offers small-scale after-school care for up to 13 children aged 4 to 13. We share the premises with day-care centre ’t Armhoes, so children who previously attended our day-care can continue to feel at home once they start primary school. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff collects the children from the local primary school and accompanies them to our spacious, homely setting. Our approach is built on continuity: the same core values that guide our day-care – small scale, personal attention and a familiar environment – also underpin our after-school care. During holiday and study days activities start at 10 a.m.; parents drop their child off between 7.30 and 10 a.m. Children attending for half a day can be collected between 12.30 and 1 p.m.; regular pick-up runs from 4.30 to 6.30 p.m. Excursions and day trips are a fixed part of our programme. To take part, children must arrive no later than 10 a.m. Parents report absence or attendance before 10 a.m. via the day-care’s main number so we can plan activities and staffing accordingly. A stable team of pedagogical staff recognises every child, understands their development and offers the calm and structure needed after a school day. A clear safety protocol governs drop-off and pick-up: only familiar adults or those notified in advance may collect a child. In this way BSO ’t Armhoes remains a safe, familiar place where children feel completely at home.
