BSO Struin Goffert-Bison

Welcome to BSO Struin Goffert-Bison, located at Bisonstraat 3 in Nijmegen. We are part of Struin, the largest childcare organization in the Netherlands fully based on nature pedagogy. Since March 23, 2022, we provide after-school care for up to 60 children aged 4 to 12. At Struin, we believe nature is a powerful learning environment. Our pedagogical staff, also called nature educators, take children on adventures into the wild nature outside the city. We roam through forests, build huts, make fires, catch fish, and learn about plants and animals. Our activities are always outdoors and always inspired by nature and its elements. Children come together in small groups after school. We offer peace and space to play, discover and grow. Our location works together with primary school De Hazesprong, which is located at the same address. We pick up the children from school and bring them to our natural play and learning environment. Our approach is unique in the Netherlands. We are inspired by Scandinavian nature education and give children the opportunity to develop freely in a safe, green environment.
