BSO Struin Beuningen

Welcome to Struin Beuningen! We provide after-school care in nature for children aged 4 to 12. Our Beuningen branch picks up children on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays with our unique Struin bikes from primary schools De Montijn, De Peppel and De Dromedaris in Beuningen. We explore the Ewijkse Plaat, adventure in the Roodslag and climb trees in the Beuningen floodplains. Children can build forts, catch frogs, roast chestnuts on self-made fires, fish with landing nets, make flower bouquets and complete survival courses. We believe playing outdoors in nature is not only fun and healthy, but also beneficial for children's development. Our play locations depend on the type of day. On regular school days we visit the Ewijkse plaat, Beuningen floodplains, Roodslag and Heuvepark. On longer days (such as holidays) we venture further into nature to Weurtse floodplains, Green hills, Kapelberg in Bergharen, Hernensbos in Hernen and Struinland in Nijmegen. When weather conditions are too severe, we shelter in the school buildings of primary school De Peppel at Augustuslaan 22 in Beuningen. During school weeks, your child is ready for pickup from 17:30, with plenty of time and space to continue playing until 19:30. Pickup is available at different locations: from 17:30-18:30 at OBS de Peppel and MKC Montijn, and from 18:40-19:30 at our garage on Kloosterstraat 17. We have space for up to 85 children and have been registered in the National Childcare Register since January 1, 2021 under number 319439069. There is currently direct availability in our Struin group on Mondays!
