Stoer BSO Mercuriusplein

Stoer BSO Mercuriusplein is our brand-new after-school care facility in Amsterdam-Noord, located at Mercuriusplein 10. Starting November 4th 2024, we welcome up to 30 children in a small-scale, homely environment. We pick up children by cargo bike from Daltonschool de Poolster, OBS Twiske, de Bonkelaar, IKC Tuindorp and IKC Noordrijk. At Stoer BSO Mercuriusplein, outdoor play is central. Children can let off steam in our safe outdoor space, play tag, or simply relax in the fresh air. We believe every child is unique and has their own needs after school. One child may want to be active, while another prefers some quiet time. Both are possible with us. Each afternoon starts with a healthy snack and drink. Then children choose from various activities like crafts, games, or helping prepare activities. Between 5:15 and 5:45 PM we serve a warm, fresh meal from Apetito, specially prepared for children. This ensures they get all the nutrients they need and parents can take their child home immediately for the evening routine. During school holidays we regularly organize cool outings and adventures. We're also open on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM for parents who need to work. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day with big smiles to make every day a celebration. We create a safe, warm environment where children feel at home and can fully explore.
