BSO Stevenshof Uitvliegers

Welcome to Partou BSO Stevenshof Uitvliegers, our location specially designed for the oldest children in the Stevenshof district of Leiden. We are located at Carry van Bruggenpad 2, inside the building of the Stevenshof playground association. Here we provide after-school care for up to 36 children aged 8 and older. The premises are spacious and bright and directly adjacent to a beautiful, fenced playground where children can play and explore to their heart’s content. At Uitvliegers, independence is key. We prepare children for secondary school by gradually giving them more freedom and responsibility. They are allowed to come to the BSO on their own, design their own activity programme, and play outside independently. Child participation is important to us: children actively help decide what they want to do, learning to make choices and cooperate. We work with fixed base groups and take each child’s age and development into account. Our pedagogical staff are fully qualified and supported by pedagogical coaches. We believe every child should feel seen and safe. That is why we start with a thorough intake and a gentle settling-in period. During care hours we keep in close contact with parents through the Partou parent app and regular conversations. Our location is open from the end of the school day until 18:30. During holidays and study days we are open from 7:00 or 7:30 until 18:30. We pick up children from OBS De Stevenshof and De Wereldwijzer. We also make regular trips in the neighbourhood, such as to the library, Stevenshof park or the Ter Wadding forest in Voorschoten.
