BSO Sterrenbos

Welcome to BSO Sterrenbos, the after-school care centre where children aged 4 to 12 from Zeist and Driebergen meet to play, explore and share adventures. Our main site at Padvinderslaantje 2, Zeist, has room for 47 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 668840535) since 1 May 2015. Every day we collect children from various schools in Zeist and Driebergen—by car, on foot or by cargo bike—so parents can work with peace of mind. Free play is at the heart of everything we do. Children decide how they want to spend their afternoon: building in the sandpit, crafting in the creative corner, playing games or simply running around in our large garden. In addition, we organise fun and adventurous activities every day—think sports, nature discovery, arts and crafts, drama and cooking. We also go on regular excursions: swimming, skiing, music or English lessons, always tailored to the children’s interests. Our enthusiastic pedagogical staff guide the children and create a safe, homely atmosphere where every child can be themselves. Our setting is small-scale and clearly laid out. Inside you will find cosy corners with books, games and construction materials; outside there is plenty of space to run, climb and go on adventures together. We work with mixed-age groups so children of different years learn from and play with one another.
