BSO Stars Asperen

Welcome to BSO Stars Asperen! We are located in a charming, nostalgic building in the heart of old Asperen, at Achterstraat 1. As part of the BSO Stars Leerdam foundation, we have been providing after-school care since January 1, 2024, for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. Our location is open 48 weeks a year and follows a horizontal group structure, allowing children to play and learn in age-based groups. At BSO Stars Asperen, artistic cultural education and sports are at the core of our program. Every day, we organize creative and athletic workshops where children discover and develop their talents in a playful way. Activities include making music, visual arts, drama, and of course plenty of sports and games. We teach children to use language, images, music, and movement to express feelings and experiences. In this way, they grow into confident, creative, and social individuals. Our team of pedagogical staff is small, enthusiastic, and dedicated. We take the time for every child and their parents. Together with parents, we look at what suits the child best and tailor activities accordingly. Our location features a large, enclosed outdoor area where children can run, play, and explore to their heart’s content. Indoors, there is ample space for quiet corners as well as lively games. BSO Stars Asperen works closely with primary school De Open Poort, located just 334 meters away. We pick up the children after school and safely bring them to our location. Parents appreciate our personal approach, the fun and inspiring activities, and the good contact with our staff.
