SSG Fitkids

Welcome to SSG Fitkids, our small-scale after-school care located at KV De Meeuwen on Halvinkhuizerweg 82 in Putten. We provide sporty childcare for up to 11 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our unique location outside a school building gives children the feeling of a fun, free afternoon after school and during holidays. SSG stands for Sport, play and health, which is exactly what we represent. Our enthusiastic team, consisting of Xander and Ian, has years of experience in sports and movement and is trained as pedagogical staff. We believe it's important for children to get moving and release their energy after a school day. We pick up children from Putten and Ermelo with our BSO bus or car and give them time to unwind first. After unwinding, we serve a healthy snack with fruit and a cracker with healthy toppings. Then we organize a sports-focused workshop on our outdoor field, such as football, hockey or dodgeball. In bad weather, we move activities to the sports hall. We have our own sports equipment and many children get introduced to different sports with us. For children less interested in sports, there's plenty to do indoors like crafting, coloring or building with Lego and Duplo. We're open five days a week for before and after-school care and also during school holidays and study days. Our mission is to provide children with a safe and familiar environment where they feel seen, heard and understood while stimulating their physical and motor development through play.
