Sportstuif Veldhoven RKVVO is our sporty after-school care facility located at the RKVVO football club grounds on Heikantsebaan 17 in Veldhoven. We provide care for up to 58 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location makes optimal use of the available sports facilities: an artificial turf field and a panna court where children can move, play and exercise every day. The clubhouse canteen serves as our indoor space. Here children can read, draw, build or relax quietly. We also use this space for our shared eating and drinking moments. At Sportstuif, sporty after-school care is central. We believe that children thrive best by moving and playing. Our activities therefore take place outdoors as much as possible. In bad weather we use the indoor space, but we prefer to be active outside. We safely pick up children from school with our pickup service and bring them to the sports park. Parents can flexibly choose which days their child attends and receive exchange credit for changes. We are also open during holidays and study days from 07:30 to 18:30, so children can enjoy sports activities and holiday fun then too. Our pedagogical staff guide children in a playful way in discovering different sports and games. We work according to our central pedagogical policy plan that is used at all Sportstuif locations. This policy focuses on creating a safe, familiar environment where children can develop through sports and play. We find it important that children have fun, learn to work together and work on their motor development in a healthy way. We receive a positive inspection report from the GGD annually and are affiliated with the Childcare Disputes Committee.
