Sportstuif Someren

Sportstuif Someren is the sporty after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 12, located at the football club SV Someren on Potakkerweg 21 in Someren. We use the SV Someren canteen as our indoor space and also have access to two large football pitches, a playground and a panna cage. This unique location gives children plenty of room to be active after school. Every afternoon our pedagogical staff are ready to involve the children in sports and games that match their age and interests. Think of football, hockey, dodgeball, softball, golf and frisbee, but also creative and relaxing activities such as drawing, reading and building. We regularly organise fun outings and events, both during term time and in the holidays. We collect the children safely from all primary schools in the municipality of Someren. Our care is flexible: parents choose the days of care themselves and can use exchange credit. During school weeks we are open from the end of the school day until 6.30 pm. In holidays and on study days we welcome children from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm. At Sportstuif we believe personal attention is important. We look at what each child needs: a listening ear, a hug or just some extra challenge. We teach children how to deal with winning and losing, how to work together with others and how to recognise and express their emotions. In this way we contribute to the healthy and active development of every child.
