Sportstuif Gemert

Sportstuif Gemert is the sporty after-school care location for children aged 4 to 12, housed since 30 January 2024 on the grounds of Hockeyclub Gemert at Sportlaan 12. Managed by Marieke Verbakel and Lisa Boonaerts, we welcome children five afternoons a week to a place where movement, fun and challenge are key. Every BSO afternoon starts with our pick-up service: our pedagogical staff collect the children safely from school in our recognisable blue Sportstuif cars or on foot when the school is nearby. Back at the sports park there is time for free play so every child can unwind after the school day. We then enjoy fruit and a drink together while chatting about the day’s adventures. The heart of our programme consists of two daily sport and game activities, always outdoors when the weather allows. Think dodgeball, football, live stratego, archery tag and tag games. We work in age groups so every child can participate at their own level and run, jump and cooperate with friends. After the activities there is another snack moment followed by free play: drawing, building, playing games or simply relaxing – anything goes. Our location offers the clubhouse and spacious outdoor fields of HC Gemert, ensuring plenty of fresh-air movement. We also organise regular Wednesday afternoon activities for ALL primary school children in Gemert and you can book us for sporty children’s parties.
