BSO Sportstuif Best Vooruit

Welcome to BSO Sportstuif Best Vooruit! We are a sports-focused after-school care facility located at Sportpark de Leemkuilen in Best, where children aged 4 to 12 playfully discover sports and games. Sports are central to our program, but most importantly, we provide children with a place after school where they feel at home and have fun. Daily, we offer healthy and active activities after school hours. Our activities range from football, hockey, and trefbal to games like tag, capture the flag, and various games where children can easily join in. Additionally, there's plenty of opportunity to quietly read a book, draw or color, or play board games together. Our pedagogical staff, including HBO-educated professionals with backgrounds in physical education and sports science, safely pick up children from school with our recognizable blue Sportstuif bus or on foot when schools are within walking distance. We work with a fixed daily schedule: between 14:45 and 15:30, children are picked up from school and received at our location, where they can do crafts or play games. From 15:30 to 15:45, there's a group moment with fruit and drinks. Then from 16:00 to 17:15, we engage in sports and play activities, taking extra breaks for drinks in warm weather. Between 17:15 and 18:30, children can be picked up and there's time for free play indoors and outdoors. We offer flexible care that adapts to parents' work schedules. Days are flexible and can vary per week. With a 52-week contract, children can attend during school weeks, school holidays, and study days. We believe in the positive effects of sports and movement, both physically and mentally, and convey this through a positive approach. At Sportstuif, every child can be themselves! We encourage children to develop their talents and learn from each other: respect, cooperation, having fun, and dealing with winning and losing.
