Sportstuif Heerlen

Sportstuif Heerlen is the premier sports-oriented after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 12, located at the HC Nova hockey club grounds on Stadionbaan 38 in Heerlen. Our unique concept combines childcare with sports and games, introducing children to an active and healthy lifestyle in a playful manner. Our facility utilizes the HC Nova clubhouse as our indoor space. Here, children can relax with activities such as reading, drawing, and building, while we also use this space for our eating and drinking moments. The grounds feature multiple sports fields that are perfect for various sports activities and games. Every day, we offer a sports activity ranging from tag and football to cooperation games and live stratego. Activities are organized by age, interest, or with an underlying goal. We organize monthly Friday afternoon activities with sports and creative workshops, such as Archery Tag and Capoeira. Our pedagogical staff safely pick up children from school with our recognizable blue Sportstuif cars, on foot when a school is within walking distance, or by taxi when necessary. We offer flexible childcare where parents can choose care days and make use of exchange credit. During school weeks, we are open from end of school time until 18:30. During study and vacation days, we are open from 07:30 to 18:30, with special vacation activities organized. Our mission is to broaden children's horizons through sports and games, so they develop into having a healthy and active lifestyle in a playful way.
