Sport- & Zwem BSO Knoet EDE/Victoria

Sport- & Zwem BSO Knoet EDE/Victoria has been located since 1 September in the completely renovated clubhouse of football club Ede/Victoria at Sportparkweg 8 in Ede. We provide after-school care for up to 52 children aged 4 to 12. Our team of 26 pedagogical staff – all graduated from sports programmes such as ALO, CIOS and Sport & Movement – is ready every weekday to give children an active and safe afternoon. Our motto is "mental relaxation through physical exertion". After a long school day, children can run straight onto the football pitch, explore the Hoekelum forest or use the nearby Van der Knaaphal when the weather is less cooperative. Inside the clubhouse there is space to relax, play games or read. Outside, the youngest children have a sandbox at their disposal. A unique part of our programme is the swimming track. Swimming school ZwemZeker is within walking distance; children can obtain their swimming certificate during BSO hours. We work with age groups – Penguins, Arctic Foxes, Polar Bears, Reindeer and Moose – tailoring sports programmes exactly to what the children already know and can do. Learning to win and lose together is an important pillar in social development. Parents simply complete the online registration form at www.bsoknoet.nl; we then always make personal contact. No question is too much for us, because at Knoet every child and every parent counts.
