Sport BSO Time4Skills at de Wijchert 1 in Wijchen is a sports-oriented after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 12. We are part of De Voetbal BSO and provide children with a place where they can move, play and discover after school. Our location is situated at sports park De Wijchert, giving us direct access to spacious outdoor fields, a modern canteen converted into a cozy indoor space, and an environment that invites sports and play. Our pedagogical staff pick up children daily from the primary schools in the area. After arrival at the location, there is time for a healthy snack and a drink, followed by the first sports activity of the day. Children can participate voluntarily; independent play is always an option. After a second activity in the afternoon, the day is quietly concluded with joint tidying up and play in the indoor area. During school holidays we organize an extensive program with sports clinics, tournaments and excursions. Think of visits to an amusement park, zoo or a sports event. We introduce children to different sports such as football, hockey, tennis, judo and basketball. Our vision is that every child is unique and that children's participation is central. Through playful children's meetings we involve children in drawing up rules and determining the activity program. We are open Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM during school weeks and from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM during holiday weeks. We work with a fixed daily structure that provides peace and clarity, so that children feel safe and secure. Together we create a sporty, positive environment where fun, exercise and personal development go hand in hand.
