Sport BSO Time4Skills – De Voetbal BSO in Afferden is a dynamic after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 12. We provide a safe, active and inspiring environment for up to 44 children. Since August 5, 2024, we are officially registered in the Dutch National Childcare Register (LRK number 337930454). Our core mission is to combine high-quality childcare with a strong focus on sports and physical activity. Every afternoon, children enjoy a varied programme that includes football training as well as other sports such as hockey, tennis and athletics. We also offer creative activities like colouring, puzzles and LEGO building, ensuring a balanced mix of movement and relaxation. Located at De Gelenberg 3 in Afferden, we use the facilities of a local football club. Our indoor space is set up in the clubhouse canteen, while outdoors we have access to artificial pitches, playgrounds and adjacent woodland. This unique setting allows children to explore, play and develop their motor skills in a natural environment. During school weeks we are open Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 18:30. In holiday periods we offer full-day care from 07:30 to 18:30. We provide a free pick-up service from primary schools in the area and, for a small fee, a fresh warm meal so families can enjoy a relaxed evening. Our approach is built on eight pedagogical principles that foster self-confidence, teamwork and resilience. Our qualified staff guide children with enthusiasm and expertise.
