Welcome to Sport BSO DRL De Groene Tuin, our newest out-of-school care facility located at the beautiful D.R.L. football complex on Spinozaweg 498 in Rotterdam. Since November 1, 2019, we offer a unique place on two full-size football pitches where children aged 4 to 12 can enjoy a responsible, safe and above all sporty environment after school. Our concept is entirely based on Sports & Games. We believe that sports and play are not only fun and healthy, but also highly educational. Through various activities within the themes of sports, games, music and creativity, children develop both motor and social-emotional skills. At our BSO there are no boring or mandatory programs. Our qualified pedagogical staff provide full attention to each child, focused on continuously improving the quality of care. The location accommodates a maximum of 20 children and is set up on a small scale, ensuring individual time and attention for every child. We operate with generous opening hours from Monday to Friday, 7:15 AM to 6:15 PM. Parents can choose from before-school care from 7:00 AM, after-school care until 6:15 PM, Wednesday afternoon care until 6:00 PM (with an option to extend until 7:00 PM), holiday care and additional care on request. Flexible scheduling is possible: parents can swap days without limitation, provided this is requested one week in advance via the parent portal and the days fall within the same week. Our pedagogical policy is not set in stone; it remains open for discussion and is adjusted whenever necessary. This ensures clarity and continuity in our daily practice.
