Sport BSO Boefje - KFC

Sport BSO Boefje – KFC is the sports-oriented after-school care facility in Koog aan de Zaan, located on the grounds of football club KFC at Wezelstraat 9. Open since 1 May 2024, we welcome up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. Our unique concept combines after-school care with an active sports programme, allowing children to move straight from the BSO to their club training sessions. Our qualified staff collect the children from various primary schools in Zaanstad using our own electric minibuses. Upon arrival, a warm, healthy sports meal is served so that everyone has the energy to take part. The focus is on sport and movement: football, basketball, hockey, dance and more, always tailored to the children’s interests. During school holidays we organise themed excursions and workshops – from climbing dunes and fairy-tale parks to cooking and creative sessions. For children ready to earn their swimming diplomas, we offer a swimming package on Tuesdays and Thursdays at De Crommenije pool in Krommenie. Certified instructors from Stichting Zwembaden Zaanstad provide the lessons, supported by our staff throughout. Kinderopvang Boefje was founded in 2009 by Marga van Veen and Angela Grooters. Their vision – small-scale, homely and learning through play together – still underpins every location.
