BSO Okidoki Spinel 19

Welcome to BSO Okidoki Spinel 19, our unique outdoor group 'De Strandjutters' in 's-Gravenzande. We provide after-school care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location has been registered in the national childcare register since January 1, 2020. We are open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM for after-school care and from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM during school holidays. Our pedagogical staff pick up children from school and guide them to our location where we start with a shared eating and drinking moment. Afterwards, children choose their own activity or engage in free play. At Okidoki, we work with the activity wheel of 5, introducing children to various talent groups. Our activities range from creative workshops in our studio, technical challenges with sawing and building, to sports activities and nature experiences. Each holiday we develop a new thematic activity program full of discoveries and adventures. We believe it's important that children learn to make their own choices and set boundaries. Our outdoor group 'De Strandjutters' offers plenty of opportunities to discover nature and play outside. We work closely with local schools and parents to optimally support each child's development. Through our Konnect app, we keep parents informed of daily experiences and share the Okidoki Newsletter quarterly. Our parent committee is actively involved with the location and a parent folder is available with all relevant documents such as our pedagogical policy, nutrition policy and GGD reports.
