Speelboerderij

The Speelboerderij is located in the leisure centre of city farm Het Buitenbeest at Belvédèrebos 270 in Zoetermeer. We provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 13. Our BSO group uses the Hayloft as its own play area. Every afternoon we start together with a drink and snack moment. Afterwards children can choose from many activities: we have a mini cinema, a large arts & crafts room and, of course, the entire farm as a playground. We love to play outside in the yard or in the natural playground. Children help take care of the animals and have small tasks and responsibilities on the farm and in the greenhouses. In this playful way they learn about animals and nature. Overalls and boots on and go! We coordinate our activities with the Groen Spelen Leren team of Natuurlijk! Onderwijs. Think of cooking in our kitchen, watching a film in the mini cinema or learning about different animal species. We pick up children on foot from primary schools within walking distance. For schools further away we use our own (bike) buses or work together with a taxi company. Come and have a ‘beastly’ fun afternoon with us!
