Welcome to BSO Het Spectrum by Kinderopvang 't Herdertje, located on the ground floor of Het Spectrum primary school at Volkerakweg 1 in Hoorn. We provide professional after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a homely and safe environment. Our BSO is situated within the school building itself, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. After school, children gather in our cozy group room where we enjoy fruit together at the table. Children can then choose from various activities such as playing games, doing crafts, or playing outside. During bad weather, we use the school's gymnasium so children always have enough space for movement. For outdoor play, we use the school playground of Het Spectrum. We have various outdoor play materials and plenty of space to kick a ball or play other outdoor games. The outdoor area offers challenging opportunities for active play and relaxation. Our opening hours are flexibly arranged to meet parents' needs and school schedules. For before-school care, we are open from 6:45 to 8:30 AM, and for after-school care from 2:15 to 6:30 PM. During school study days and holidays, we are open all day, ensuring you always have childcare when needed. Kinderopvang 't Herdertje stands for loving care with attention to each child. Our experienced pedagogical staff create a warm atmosphere where children feel safe and at home. We work with horizontal groups, where children come together in age groups. This stimulates development and makes it easier to adapt activities to the children's world of experience.
