SOL de Bron location Admiraal is located at the Integral Child Centre on Admiraal de Ruyterlaan 1 in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. We provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12 who attend primary school. Care takes place both inside and outside the school building, in close collaboration with parents and Kinderopvang Ambacht, to create a warm and safe environment. Our pedagogical approach focuses on the well-being of every child. We believe children need to feel safe and comfortable in order to learn and play. Therefore, we pay great attention to the social-emotional development of the children. We use methods such as Kwink! and the resilience programme ‘Voel je Sterk’. Where necessary, we involve external professionals, such as School Social Work, to provide additional support. We also have a clear anti-bullying protocol, so every child can come to our care with pleasure. Our after-school care is available not only after school hours, but also before school (VSO), during study days and during holiday care (VAKO). We are open all year round, from 7.00 to 19.00, so parents can use the care flexibly. We keep parents informed through personal conversations, the parent app and general information evenings. Together with parents, we work on the development of the child, with short lines of communication and involvement as key principles.
