Small Villa Kinderopvang B.V. is a small-scale after-school care facility located at Funenpark 1B in the heart of Amsterdam. We are a close-knit organization with a big heart for children. The children who come to us become a bit like 'our' children. We often see them grow and develop over the years, and when they eventually leave, we feel proud but also shed a tear. Our BSO accommodates up to 66 children aged 4 to 12 years. We deliberately keep our groups small so we can give real attention to each child. Our location borders directly on the Funenpark, giving us the opportunity to play and move outdoors a lot in a safe, green environment. We believe that children are curious and love to play. That's why we have developed a challenging activity program for every age category. Our activities are divided into four pillars: Small Cooks, Small Sports, Small Creative and Small Builds. During Small Cooks, children learn to make healthy recipes in a playful way, such as our popular cauliflower pizzas. Small Sports is full of movement and sporting challenges, tailored to the children's interests. At Small Creative we get creative with crafts, painting and other creative expression. And with Small Builds we work on construction projects where collaboration and problem-solving skills are central. We also organize special events such as Small Villa by Night and Small Villa with friends, where children can stay to eat and play into the evening. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to give the children an unforgettable time. We often hear from parents that their children don't want to go home because they enjoy themselves so much with us. Our door is always open to interested parents and children.
