SKSG Noordster

Welcome to SKSG Noordster, our after-school care located inside De Noordster at Rijksstraatweg 1 in Zuidhorn. We are situated in the heart of the Brede School, alongside primary schools De Borgh, De Brug, De Windroos, Het Anker and Nautilus College. This makes us the perfect place for children aged 4 to 12 to play, discover and grow after school. At Noordster, everyone knows each other. Children are placed in a fixed group with the same professional pedagogical staff every day. We always start the afternoon together: a biscuit, a chat, and then the children decide for themselves what they want to do. The garden doors are often open, so they can choose whether to craft indoors or romp around in our spacious garden. Our activity programme is built around five pillars: science & technology (Discovery Kids), food & health (Masterchef), nature & sustainability (SKSG Goes Green), sports & movement (Sport Experience) and art & culture (SKSG Got Talent). In this way, children playfully discover what they enjoy and what they are good at. We regularly go on excursions or work with local partners on exciting projects. We believe it is important that every child feels safe and seen. That is why we offer lots of personal attention and encourage self-reliance in a playful way. Together we create a healthy, active and sustainable environment where children can be themselves. Because the most beautiful thing you can become is yourself!
