SKSG IKC Borgman Oosterpark

We are SKSG IKC Borgman Oosterpark, the after-school care that together with IKC Borgman Oosterpark forms one integral child centre at Klaprooslaan 204 in Groningen. In our brand-new, fresh building, right in the green surroundings of Oosterpark, we provide after-school care for up to 90 children aged 4 to 13. Our pedagogical staff and the school teachers form one close-knit team; we work from a single vision and seamlessly coordinate everything we do. Our BSO is open every school day from 14:00 onwards and also during school-free days and holidays. We pick the children up straight from their classroom and immediately dive into a varied programme. All activities are linked to the themes running at school. When the theme is ‘nature’, we head outside to collect twigs and leaves for crafting. Our five pillars – Food & Cooking, Art & Culture, Sports & Movement, Science & Technology, and Nature & Sustainability – offer every child stimuli that match their individual talents. We make full use of our unique location next to the park: there is plenty of space to run, play and explore. During teacher training days and school holidays we stay open, so parents can always rely on us. Registration for the BSO is separate from school enrolment; parents can easily register online or contact SKSG Customer Advice. This way we ensure every child has a familiar place where they can grow, play and learn at their own pace.
