SkippyPepijn BSO Keizerskroon 4+

SkippyPepijn BSO Keizerskroon 4+ is located on the ground floor of primary school De Keizerskroon at Zilverreigerdreef 109 in Pijnacker. We provide after-school care for up to 60 children aged 4 to 12. Because we are literally inside the school building, children simply walk in after classes. We work closely with De Keizerskroon: pick-up times, study days and holiday schedules are aligned directly with the school, giving parents one point of contact and children a seamless day. Our qualified staff create a homely atmosphere where every child feels safe and free. Children are placed in fixed groups so they are always surrounded by familiar faces. The rooms are arranged into corners for crafts, construction, games and quiet reading. In addition, we regularly use the school gym and outdoor playground; when the weather is nice we are outside in the school garden or take a lap around the playground. The youngest group (4+) has its own ‘Flamingo/Parrots’ section where activities and materials are perfectly suited to their developmental stage. Before- and after-school care can be booked flexibly. In the morning we open at 07.30 so parents can drop off their child calmly before school starts. At the end of the school day we are ready from the moment school ends until 18.30. During holidays and study days we also provide care from 07.30 to 18.30. Our holiday programmes are extra festive: themed weeks, craft marathons, sports and game days, and sometimes an outing to the playground or the woods. Everything is organised in consultation with parents and tailored to the children’s interests. At SkippyPepijn we believe in learning through play. We therefore offer a wide range of activities, from creative craft projects and drama to sports and games in the gym. We use the same pedagogical principles as the school, so children experience continuity and quickly feel at home. Our staff are trained to stimulate children’s social, emotional and creative development. In short, at SkippyPepijn BSO Keizerskroon 4+ children have the space to play, discover and grow in a familiar environment.
