Stichting Buitenschoolse Opvang Hindoescholen Shri Ganesha is a small-scale after-school care facility located within the Shri Ganesha School building at Regentesseweg 1 in Almere since 2008. We provide after-school and holiday care for a maximum of 20 children aged 4 years until they leave primary school. Our BSO originated from a Hindu foundation and operates with the vision that we share parenting responsibilities with parents while creating a safe foundation for each individual child's development. Recognition and appreciation of one's own culture are central, with development taking place from a Hindu perspective. However, we welcome children from all cultures and backgrounds. We provide professional care with qualified staff and high-quality methods and materials. Our BSO is open throughout the entire year, except for generally recognized public holidays and the last two weeks of summer vacation. Care takes place in the familiar school building of Shri Ganesha School, allowing children to play, relax and develop in a familiar environment after school. Our mission is to provide the best possible after-school and holiday care for children of parents with affinity or interest in Hinduism, based on Hindu principles. At the same time, we provide professional care where care, attention, love and safety are central.
