Schatbewaarder

Welcome to after-school care BSO Schatbewaarder, located at Oeverwallaan 145 in the Ypenburg district of The Hague. We are part of gro-up childcare and provide care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 7. Our location consists of two base groups: the Smaragden and the Parels. The Parels group has 20 children, and the Smaragden group has around 15 to 20 children, depending on placements. We believe that growing means developing yourself, discovering who you are and what talents you have. That’s why we offer a healthy, safe and opportunity-rich environment where children can play, learn and explore. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide children in activities such as drawing, games and sports outings. We follow a fixed daily schedule: in the morning, we offer quiet care from 7:30 AM, after which children are taken to school. In the afternoon, care starts from 1:45 PM until 6:30 PM at the latest. During holidays, we use an adjusted schedule with longer opening hours, from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We regularly organize outings and off-site activities, such as sports in the gym. Parents are kept informed through our parent app, where we share photos, messages and theme updates. We value collaboration with parents: we share responsibility for upbringing and education and tailor our approach to each child’s developmental needs.
