SamSam BSO Marcanti 496 is a professional after-school care facility located in the heart of Amsterdam-West. We provide care for up to 46 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location is a large workshop where children are free to work and will never be bored. We encourage children to use all their senses: making music, cooking, building, and hammering. We regularly explore the neighborhood parks and give children space to retreat and relax. We let them marvel, explore, and build with old materials and real tools. At SamSam, we encourage children to color outside the lines because growing up also means exploring boundaries and making discoveries. We work with several local schools and provide pickup services from De Rijk Kramer (Nassaukade), De Waterkant, De St Jan, De Meidoorn, and De Admiraal de Ruyterschool. Our pedagogical staff are trained to guide children in their development and provide them with a safe, familiar environment after school. We are open 52 weeks a year from Monday to Friday, 15:00 to 18:15. During school holidays and study days, we offer extended programs with age-appropriate activities.
