BSO Salamanderveen

Welcome to BSO Salamanderveen, the after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 12 in Spijkenisse. We are located on the ground floor of primary school De Duif at Salamanderveen 354 in the quiet Waterland neighborhood. Our location accommodates up to 33 children and exclusively partners with primary schools De Duif, Montessori, and De Wegwijzer. Our space is designed as a creative studio where children can craft, build, and discover to their heart's content. Besides the studio, we have a cozy lounge area for quiet moments and we also use the wide hallway for large construction projects. We have access to an adventurous playground with different sections, plenty of bushes for building huts, and abundant greenery in the surroundings. Each morning starts at 7:00 AM with a provided breakfast for before-school care. After school, our experienced pedagogical staff are ready to receive children until 6:30 PM. We believe in free time where children choose their own activities. There's always plenty of challenging play materials available and we regularly organize sports activities, nature and art projects. Our Activity Team visits regularly with specialized workshops in sports and games, nature, and artistic activities. During holidays and study days, we make it extra festive with excursions, workshops, and special activities. We consciously have no computers or TVs, so children play together and relax together.
