About this care

AI
Royal Kids Home location Tuinstraat is a welcoming after-school care (BSO) in the heart of Krimpen aan den IJssel. Located at Tuinstraat 25, we form an integral child centre together with the Christian primary school Het Kompas. This allows children to stay, play and develop in the same familiar building after school hours. Our after-school group ‘De Orka’s’ welcomes up to 20 children aged 4 to 13. We work in one horizontal group, so children of different ages learn with and from each other. Our qualified pedagogical staff are on site every weekday from 07:30 to 18:00. We also offer before-school care, giving parents the flexibility to drop off their child before classes begin. All activities are built around seasonal themes such as ‘autumn’ or ‘around the world’. These themes inspire crafts, outdoor play and creative challenges that match each child’s interests and developmental stage. Rooted in our Christian values, we focus on respectful and loving interaction so every child feels at home and can grow at their own pace. We believe in a careful introduction. Together with parents we take plenty of time to get acquainted, building a relationship of trust and emotional safety. Feel free to visit us, experience the atmosphere and join in the fun. We look forward to meeting you!
