De Bijenkorf

Welcome to BSO De Bijenkorf, located inside De Bijenkorf primary school at Aalberseplein 6 in Gouda. We are part of Kind & Co Ludens and provide after-school care that aligns with the school day and holiday schedule of De Bijenkorf. Our setting is small-scale and homely, featuring a cosy classroom and a spacious school hall. Together, these areas offer the ideal mix of calm and room for activities. When the children arrive they are offered a drink and a snack. This is always a pleasant moment for them to share stories about their school day. Afterwards they can choose to play on their own or together, or take part in organised activities. Every month we work with a new theme. All activities are tailored to the theme and to the children’s age and interests. During school holidays we are open all day and adapt the programme so there is plenty of time for relaxation, play and exciting activities. Our outdoor area is the large school playground of De Bijenkorf, full of challenges for every age. We follow the Pedagogisch Hart framework of Kind & Co Ludens. This means we give children a safe base, space to grow and discover, a rich environment and the opportunity to learn how to interact with one another and the world around us. Only children who attend De Bijenkorf primary school can register with us.
