Welcome to BSO 2Vriendjes, located at Spaarwaterstraat 19 in the heart of Bezuidenhout, The Hague. We are part of 2Samen, an organization with over 100 years of experience in childcare. Our location is just a stone's throw from the beautiful Haagse Bos and features a versatile, sustainable schoolyard where children can play to their heart's content. The afternoon starts with picking up the children from school. The youngest are collected from their classrooms, while older children come to us independently on the playground. Once they arrive, a healthy snack is ready: fresh fruit, vegetables, crackers or bread with something to drink. Then it's time for relaxation and fun. BSO is free time, so children decide for themselves what they want to do. They can choose from a wide range of activities such as crafts, baking, playing with Lego or Kapla, dressing up, reading a book or quietly doing homework. We regularly organize KICKS activities, where children have a say in what they do. Think of graffiti spraying, tree climbing, theater lessons or Lego building. We also make fun trips to nearby playgrounds and of course to the Haagse Bos. We are officially a 'Healthy Childcare' location, which means we pay a lot of attention to healthy food and an active lifestyle. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to provide children with a safe and challenging environment. We believe it is important that children feel free to discover who they are and what they are interested in. At the end of the afternoon, we are happy to take time to talk to parents about the day's experiences. We look forward to next time!
