BSO Rehoboth

BSO Rehoboth is part of Kindcentrum Rehoboth, a CKC Drenthe location in Valthermond. Our after-school care is located at Wilhelminalaan 4A, in the building ‘de Speulstee’, directly opposite Rehoboth primary school. We provide care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 13. Our pedagogical approach follows the organisation-wide policy of CKC Drenthe, centred on the four pedagogical goals of Riksen-Walraven: emotional security, personal value, social competence and child development. Each group has a dedicated mentor who is the first point of contact for both child and parent and, when desired, discusses the child’s development with the parents. The 73 m² indoor play area is safe, accessible and invitingly arranged. It opens onto a private outdoor space that amply accommodates all attending children. This outdoor area is adjacent to the building, allowing children to play and move freely. We work closely with Rehoboth primary school and other nearby schools; children are collected after school and escorted to ‘de Speulstee’.
