BSO Purperkanjers

BSO Purperkanjers is located in the Het Liesveld community school at Liesveldweg 65 in Ameide. We work closely with primary schools De Vlindertuin and De Kandelaar, so children can come straight to us after class. Our spacious location welcomes up to 46 children and is organised in age groups, ensuring every activity matches the children’s developmental stage. As soon as the school bell rings, we greet the children in our colourful after-school room. After a shared snack and drink, children decide for themselves what they would like to do. Our professional staff offer varied daily activities under the themes creative arts, sports and games, nature and technology. Children who prefer quiet time can curl up on a sofa with a book from the well-stocked library located in the same building. Outside, we have an exciting playground with climbing frames, a small football pitch and plenty of greenery for building dens or studying insects. When the weather is poor, the children can use the gym hall that is directly accessible from our room, where we organise dance and movement sessions. We are open Monday to Friday from the end of the school day until 18:30. Parents who need earlier care can use VSO De Kandelaar, which offers morning care from 07:00 to 08:30 on Monday to Thursday. Together we provide a seamless chain of care that fits the working hours of families in Ameide and the surrounding area.
